Privacy Policy

Effective 5 November 2026. Binder Gallery, Mexico City, Mexico.

The short version. If you don’t create an account, your collection never leaves your phone and we hold nothing about you. If you do create one, we store your sign-in details and your collection so it can come back on a new phone — and you can delete all of it from inside the app. Photos you take with the scanner are never uploaded. There are no ads, no analytics and nothing is sold.

Using the app without an account

An account is optional. Without one, everything — your cards, your binders, their layout and names — is stored only on your phone. We don’t collect it, we can’t see it, and there is nothing for us to delete, because it was never sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes it.

The app asks for camera permission only so the scanner can read a card. The pictures the camera takes during scanning are processed on your phone and are not saved or uploaded. Neither is the photo you choose as a binder cover: it stays on your phone.

If you create an account

An account exists for one reason: so your collection survives a lost or replaced phone. You sign in with Google or Apple through Firebase Authentication; we never see or handle your password.

What we store when you have an account:

  • A user identifier assigned by Firebase.
  • The email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with.
  • Your display name, if the provider gives us one.
  • Your collection: the cards you own, your binders, and the position of each card.

That data is stored with Google Firebase, in Cloud Firestore, on Google’s infrastructure. We do not store scanner photos or binder cover photos there, and we do not build a profile of you or track what you do in the app.

Prices and the services the app contacts

Card prices are estimates the app fetches from outside sources. To show them, your phone makes requests to:

  • TCGdex — card data and identification.
  • tcgcsv.com — price data.
  • Cardmarket, reached through TCGdex — European price data.
  • Frankfurter — currency exchange rates.

Like any request a phone makes to a website, these carry your device’s IP address, and the operator of each service can see it. They do not carry your name, your email, your account identifier or anything about your collection. We don’t tell those services who you are, because we don’t send it.

Purchases

Binder Gallery Pro is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. They handle the payment and tell the app whether you own Pro. We never receive or store your card number, billing address or any other payment detail. Receipts and refunds are between you and the store.

Deleting your account and your data

In the app, open Profile → Delete account. This deletes the copy of your collection stored in Firestore and the account itself. It cannot be undone, and we keep no backup copy of a deleted account.

You can also write to support@bindergallery.art from the address on the account and we’ll do it for you.

You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. The email address above is how you exercise any of those.

Children

Binder Gallery is suitable for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. This version has no social features: no profiles to browse, no messaging, no comments, nothing another user can send you. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, write to us and we’ll delete it.

What we don’t do

  • No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
  • No selling or renting of personal data, ever.
  • No third-party analytics, trackers or SDKs that profile you.
  • No cookies on this website. The site stores nothing in your browser.

If that ever changes — for example if we add Firebase Crashlytics to catch crashes — we will update this policy and say so before it takes effect.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the app collects, we’ll update this page and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
